What People are saying
“All of my interactions with staff have been phenomenal. Always helpful and very courteous. Ashlee is such a great host. The site itself is beautiful and clean. They are doing some upgrades at the moment to irrigation and landscaping and such, but no big deal. I cannot wait to see the end results. This place is outstanding. I almost don’t want to give them such a great review because it could lure in more people and I do like the fact that it’s not crowded at all right now Haha. But seriously, if you need a spot for a night or weeks or months, this place is fantastic. My only negative is there’s just one working washer at the moment. Still not a big deal. Well worth it.“

“This place is so much fun, the staff were just amazing. I was there in the middle of winter so it was pretty dead and there was a lot of construction but I saw that as a good sign that they were working hard improve the property for summer. They’re adding trees and grass to every spot along with the irrigation. The property itself is huge as it covers both sides of the river all the way up to the highway with all kinds of activities from taft trips to concerts and more.“

“First time out to Tico Time from Durango for a festival, and it blew my mind! I had heard good things before, but was not prepared for how cool the venue was with the stage right on the river, water slides, and zip lines going in the background. Camping was super fun there as well, and the staff was very friendly. Will definitely be back soon!“

“We had a wonderful time here! Our RV site was very comfortable. The kids played for hours in the ponds on the free paddleboards. They also did the summer camp for a few days and absolutely loved it; they said the counselors were “funny and nice” and they had a great time with the zipline, climbing wall, and water activities. Highly recommend Tico Time for a fun family vacation!“

“This was our second year visiting Tico Time. We had 5 children and 7 adults in our group. There were enough activities to keep the kids busy the whole time. Staff was friendly/helpful, and Michael made our stay extra special. I suspect that this will become a yearly trip for our family. Great place to get away from the city!“

“Did this as a family trip and really had a blast. Has RV parking and hookups, place for camping too. The ziplines and adventure tower was a blast! They also had all kinds of other amenities; inflated canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, beaches for swimming and playing in the water, water slide with jump, and a zipline into the water. Also some netting in the trees that the kids enjoyed bouncing in and sitting and talking. The staff was really amazing, friendly, helpful, courteous. In addition to all the above, there was a music festival that weekend so free concert basically, plus fireworks. Really doesn’t get better than this! The area was beautiful and peaceful too, highly recommended!“
