Zipline in Durango, Colorado at Tico Time Resort
Tico Time Resort’s two ziplines let you soar over the Animas River in a breath-taking, adrenaline-pumping experience! We combine our ziplines (including one sixty feet high in the sky) with other action-packed outdoor fun for a day like no other.
Never been ziplining before? Once you try it, we think you’ll want to go again! Riders wear a special harness that attaches to a pulley on a cable. Then, they let go and whoosh down the line… often laughing or screaming as they go. It’s a huge thrill!
In our opinion, ziplining is one of the best ways to enjoy the beauty of nature, too. That’s why you’ll find ziplines in gorgeous natural locales (like our site just south of the San Juan National Forest).
Our Zipline Experience
When you arrive, the staff will guide you through a 15-minute safety briefing and show you how to safely enjoy the two ziplines (as well as various other challenge course activities). Then, you’ll set off on a thrilling adventure tour, testing your bravery on the different challenges.
In fact, the zip lines are how you’ll get the fun started! Kick things off by ziplining across the Animas River, getting warmed up for the adventure ahead with a swooping glide across.
After you complete your other activities, you’ll be ready for the big time. You’ll climb our 60’ tower, taking in gorgeous views of the San Juan National Forest, and then triumphantly soar back over the river on our 550’ zipline. It’s an incredible way to end your tour.
